Harvest of Diamonds: Seventh Annual Field’s Pond Ice Harvest

We’ll be turning sap into maple syrup on the woodstove, and there will be Irish music and food in celebration of the Curran family’s Hibernian ancestry.

We will gather to remember our neighbor and friend Linda, whose recollections enhanced our knowledge and understanding of the Curran siblings, and whose nearby Loon Hollow cottages gave so many the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Field’s Pond and its flora and fauna.

This is only the second Sunday of the new Orrington Farmers' Market at 19th Century Curran Village. Please be patient as it will take awhile for planned vendors to start making to the Orrington site. Vendors come from as far away as southern Maine sometimes. There aren't any newly grown vegetables from Maine this time...
